Meet Calvin Obutungu Johnson - born and raised in Ruykunjiri, Uganda.
He came home with my sister from the Peace Corps and sur-priseeeee he’s staying with me until she finishes out her stay in Ecuador. He was supposed to stay with my twin sister but he kind of mutilated her old ladycat on the first night… sooo there’s that.
     If she’d left him there he would probably have been eaten or… eaten. For such a hostile upbringing, he’s really the sweetest kitty cat. :) He has the remarkable ability to get inside of kitchen cabinets and not be able to find his way out.


P.S. “Obutungu” means “onion” in the local language - he obtained this middle name after his twenty-four hour flight to the states had him completely reeking of cat piss.
